Hilda is a very sweet girl who loves to cuddle and be the center of attention. With her nice confirmation, lovely movement and a wonderfully thick coat, she finished her AKC breed championship title easily with limited showing from the "bred by exhibitor" class and was always owner handled.
She has been following in her Momma Hazel's paw prints in her quest for AKC titles and has been doing very well so far! She is easy to work with and tries her best to please. She earned two master passes during the summer of 2017 before she came into heat and couldn't run any more tests.
She was bred in the fall of 2017 but sadly, ended up having an emergency c-section and spay. Unfortunately, all the puppies were deceased. We were devastated to say the least. It's scary to think that we could have lost her from the complications, and heartbreaking to know that we'll never have a pup from her.
2018 - Hilda has made a full recovery from her pregnancy scare though and is back in training to try and earn that Master Hunter title. Hilda earned two more master passes this summer and needs just one more for her title!
2020 - I finally decided to run Hilda in one of the very few hunt test offered here in the New England/East Coast this year (Thank you Covid-19 for a rotten competition season), and she passed with flying colors to earn her Master Hunter title!
